SpaceX launches Starlink satellites

SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 on the Starlink 6-110 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 at 6:04 p.m. ET.

The launch, with a 95% favorable weather forecast, was the 10th flight for the booster B1092, which successfully landed on the droneship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic.

The mission carried 29 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit to expand SpaceX’s global internet coverage.

The launch window ran from 3:56 p.m. to 7:56 p.m. ET, giving SpaceX flexibility for liftoff, Spectrum News 13 has reported.

Once operational, the new satellites will join thousands already in orbit to provide internet service worldwide.
