Road rage incident turns deadly as Virginia highway stabbing leaves 2 people dead

A violent road rage incident on I-495 near Annandale, Virginia, left at least two people dead, including a 39-year-old woman and a dog, after a mass stabbing on Sunday.

Four people were stabbed, and the suspect was killed by a responding Virginia State Police trooper, who was unharmed.

Authorities said the stabbings occurred before or as the trooper arrived, and the suspect was armed with a knife.

Officials confirmed the attack does not appear to be terrorism-related, Fox News has reported.

The highway was shut down due to heavy police activity, and the Fairfax County Police Department is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
