Israel’s military launched a broad wave of strikes on Tehran targeting Iranian regime infrastructure and also hit areas in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Since the U.S. and Israel began attacks on Iran on Feb. 28, more than 1,300 people have been killed, according to the Iranian Red Crescent, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and over 160 people in a strike on a girls’ school.
The U.N. refugee agency says about 100,000 residents fled Tehran in the first two days of the conflict, NPR has reported.
Iran has also launched missiles and drones at Israel and at countries hosting U.S. bases, while oil prices surged to their highest level since September 2023.
