Woman arrested after Ohio girls found dead in suitcases, police say

A woman, Aliyah Henderson, 28, was arrested in Cleveland and charged with murder and child endangerment after the bodies of two girls were found in suitcases buried in shallow graves.

The victims, identified through DNA as 10-year-old Amor Wilson and 8-year-old Mila Chatman, were discovered at a park in a residential neighborhood near a school.

Authorities found a third child unharmed during the investigation, who is now under the supervision of child services.

Police acted quickly, detaining Henderson within 48 hours and recovering substantial evidence linked to the case, USA Today has reported.

Family members described the tragedy as devastating, with Mila’s father recounting his years-long efforts to gain custody before learning of her death.
