The U.S. military confirmed that an American Army soldier died from injuries sustained during an Iranian attack on troops stationed in Saudi Arabia.

The soldier was wounded in a March 1 strike and died on Saturday, according to a U.S. official.

This brings the total number of American service members killed in the Iran war to seven.

Six Army reservists were previously killed in a March 1 attack on a command center at a Kuwaiti port, WCSC Live 5 News has reported.

All of the U.S. casualties reported so far in the conflict have been Army soldiers.
