Trump says war with Iran will end ‘soon’ as gas prices increase

President Donald Trump said the war with Iran will end “soon,” claiming U.S. forces have exceeded expectations in damaging Iranian targets.

He noted that joint strikes with Israel targeted Iran over missile concerns, resulting in seven U.S. casualties and multiple injuries.

The Pentagon reportedly spent $6.5 billion on munitions in the first two days, and gas prices have risen from $2.9 to $3.6 per gallon.

Trump insisted the conflict could end whenever he chooses, while Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Iran is “badly losing” in the ongoing Operation Epic Fury, WJLA 7 News has reported.

Officials continue large-scale airstrikes as the conflict enters its tenth day.
