Netanyahu says Israel ‘stronger than ever’ in first speech since Iran war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Israel is “stronger than ever” as it continues military operations against Iran, citing the deaths of top Iranian nuclear scientists and damage to IRGC and Basij forces.

He stated the attacks, ongoing since February 28, prevented Iran from moving its nuclear and ballistic programs underground, while praising Iranian protesters and echoing U.S. calls for regime change.

Netanyahu also said the conflict has allowed Israel to build new regional alliances, despite tensions with Gulf countries and the fallout from its Gaza war.

Iran has launched drone and missile strikes on Gulf nations, prompting a UN Security Council resolution condemning Tehran’s actions, Al-Jazeera has reported.

Analysts noted Netanyahu’s statements appear aimed at bolstering his political image ahead of November elections, though recent polls suggest his popularity may be waning.
