White House chief of staff Susie Wiles diagnosed with ‘early stage breast cancer’

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer but will continue working while undergoing treatment, President Donald Trump said Monday.

Trump described her prognosis as “excellent” and praised her commitment to staying “virtually full time at the White House.”

Wiles appeared alongside Trump later Monday at a meeting of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts board, which she helps oversee.

She played a key role in Trump’s 2024 campaign and holds significant influence in his second administration, CNBC has reported.

Known for her rare on-camera remarks, Wiles previously gave candid interviews to Vanity Fair, which drew public defense from Trump and other officials after the articles criticized her and Trump’s team.
