North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was pictured riding a tank with his teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae, during military drills, according to state media.

The exercises included tank and infantry unit training, with Kim calling for full war preparations.

Kim Ju Ae, about 13, has accompanied her father to numerous high-profile military and diplomatic events, sparking speculation she may be his heir.

Recent appearances included firing pistols, observing rocket launches, and a previous trip to Beijing, NBC News has reported.

The tank drills coincided with ongoing U.S.-South Korea military exercises, which North Korea views as a rehearsal for invasion.
