US quadruple amputee cornhole champion arrested on suspicion of murder

Dayton Webber, a pioneering quadruple amputee athlete, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Bradrick Wellsduring an argument inside a car in Maryland.

Authorities say Webber allegedly shot Wells, disposed of his body, and fled before later being arrested in Charlottesville.

Witnesses reported the incident to police, leading to a search and eventual capture.

Webber, once celebrated for overcoming severe childhood illness to become a professional cornhole player, now faces multiple charges including murder and firearm offenses, The Guardian has reported.

Investigators have not yet determined a clear motive, and the case remains under investigation.
