Humanoid robot rentals take off as North Dallas company builds growing fleet

Humanoid robots are becoming popular attractions at parties, weddings, and conventions, with a North Dallas startup, The Robot Studio, helping lead the trend by renting them out for events.

Founded by Aaron Mehdizadeh, the company offers robots like Benji and Stewie that can dance, tell jokes, answer questions, and interact with guests.

Benji has gained attention for appearances at events and even a shopping mall, along with building a social media following.

The company aims to expand its robot fleet while making the technology more approachable for the public, CBS News has reported.

For now, the robots are mainly used for entertainment, but the founders believe they will become more common in everyday life.
