Two students were killed and at least seven others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Tennessee on Friday.
The bus, carrying students and adults from Kenwood Middle School on a field trip, collided with a dump truck and a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Highway 70 in Carroll County.
Several of the injured were transported by air ambulance to hospitals across the state, while others were treated and released.
Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, CBS News has reported.
School and district officials expressed condolences and said counseling services will be provided to support students, families, and staff affected by the tragedy.
