SpaceX launches 119 payloads to orbit from California

SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base early Monday morning as part of its Transporter-16 rideshare mission.

The mission will carry 119 payloads into low Earth orbit, including cubesats, microsatellites, and other specialized cargo.

Liftoff is scheduled within a 57-minute window beginning at 6:20 a.m. EDT, with live coverage available shortly before launch.

If successful, the rocket’s first stage will land on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean about 8.5 minutes after liftoff, Space.com has reported.

The Transporter program continues SpaceX’s effort to provide cost-effective access to space for a wide range of satellite customers.
