Vice President J. D. Vance said in a recent interview that he is “obsessed” with UFOs and intends to investigate the topic before leaving office.

He stated he has not yet reviewed classified UFO files but hopes to access and better understand them using his position.

Vance mentioned prior interest in visiting sites like Area 51 and suggested he believes unexplained phenomena may have a non-alien explanation.

He also referenced religious perspectives, saying some mysteries may relate to concepts of good and evil rather than extraterrestrial life, The Hill has reported.

His remarks come amid renewed public discussion about UFO transparency, including comments and actions by other political figures regarding declassification of related government files.
