A Kuwaiti oil tanker, Al Salmi, was damaged by a reported Iranian drone attack while anchored at Dubai port, causing a fire but no casualties.

The vessel was fully loaded, raising concerns about a potential oil spill, though all 24 crew members were safely evacuated.

UAE authorities confirmed the attack and said emergency teams were working to control the fire and assess damage.

The incident is part of a broader wave of Iranian drone and missile activity targeting sites in the UAE, including a telecommunications building, The Jerusalem Post has reported.

Emirati air defenses have been actively intercepting incoming threats as regional tensions continue to escalate.
