A man identified as Ernesto Castellanos, age 57, was shot and killed at a Plaid Pantry store in Portland.

Police say the suspect, described as a man in his 20s or 30s, fled the scene and is considered dangerous and possibly armed.

The victim was an employee at the Plaid Pantry location where he was found shortly before midnight on Friday.

The company has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest, while authorities continue to search for him, Oregon Live has reported.

The killing marks the fifth homicide in Portland so far this year, and the investigation remains ongoing.
