Cory Booker says Democrats have ‘failed this moment’ and calls for new leaders

Cory Booker said the Democratic Party has “failed this moment” and called for generational change in its leadership.

Speaking on Meet the Press, he argued the party has a “too small” coalition and has been weakened by internal divisions and ideological “purity tests.”

His remarks come amid growing frustration among some Democrats with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, with discussions among lawmakers about potential leadership changes.

Booker also said he is “not ruling out” another presidential run, The Guardian has reported.

He urged Democrats to adopt a more unifying vision that can better address current political and technological challenges.
