Federal officials issued a public health alert for certain frozen dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets sold at Walmart due to possible unsafe levels of lead.

The alert applies to 29-ounce bags of Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets with specific lot and expiration codes.

The issue was identified during routine testing, and the product may still be stored in consumers’ freezers even though it is no longer on shelves.

Health authorities warn that lead exposure is particularly harmful to young children and pregnant women, affecting brain and nervous system development, Fox Business has reported.

Consumers are advised not to eat the product and to discard it or return it while an investigation continues.
