SpaceX is preparing to launch a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral on April 11 to deliver supplies to the International Space Station.
The mission, known as NG-24, will carry a Cygnus XL spacecraft loaded with about 11,000 pounds of cargo for astronauts aboard the station.
Liftoff is scheduled for 7:41 a.m., with a backup window available the following day if needed due to weather or timing constraints.
The launch must occur on time because of the precise orbital alignment required to reach the station, Florida Today has reported.
After launch, the Falcon 9 booster is expected to return to a nearby landing zone, potentially producing a sonic boom over Brevard County.
