A new factory in China is producing humanoid robots at industrial scale, with one unit rolling off the line about every 30 minutes.
The facility, developed through a partnership between Leju Robotics and Dongfang Precision Science & Technology, is designed to produce around 10,000 robots per year.
It uses dozens of assembly and inspection stages to improve reliability, addressing a key weakness in humanoid robotics.
The production system is also flexible, allowing different robot models to be built on the same line without major shutdowns, Fox News has reported.
The ramp-up signals a shift from experimental robotics toward large-scale commercial manufacturing driven by expected demand.
