On Monday morning, two rockets were fired at Israel from the Jenin area, but fortunately, they exploded within Palestinian territory without causing harm to any Israelis or Israeli targets.

This incident is significant as it marks the first time in 18 years that a rocket has been launched at Israel from the West Bank.

One of the rockets fell a mere five meters away from the launch staging area, while the other landed approximately 80 meters from the launch site, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Upon examining the wreckage, it was discovered that the rocket bodies were intact, but no explosive materials were found within them.

This discovery raises two possibilities: either the rockets were deployed as a publicity stunt or a test run, intentionally designed not to cause any damage to Israeli individuals or infrastructure.

The true intentions of those responsible for launching the rockets remain unclear. It is also uncertain whether the individuals involved might have hidden additional rockets or explosive materials.

The incident underscores the need for thorough investigations to determine the motives behind such actions and to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved.
