During his speech at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to a Majority Conference in Washington, DC, former President Donald Trump provided a comprehensive outline of his southern border and immigration policy platforms on Saturday night.

He expressed his intention to resurrect the “incredibly successful border policies” from his first term and emphasized the need to address “automatic citizenship for the children of illegal aliens.”

Trump criticized the concept of automatic citizenship as “unfair for our country” and pledged to end it on his first day in office, if reelected, Breitbart News reported.

He announced his intention to sign an executive order to that effect, highlighting that such a practice is unique to the United States.

He emphasized the need to make this change, stating, “You have to do it. We’re the only country in the world that does it.”

Furthermore, Trump proposed the relocation of “massive portions” of federal law enforcement resources to focus on immigration enforcement.

By doing so, he aims to strengthen efforts to secure the southern border and implement stringent immigration policies.

Throughout his address, Trump provided detailed insights into his vision for border control and immigration, outlining his plans to overturn automatic citizenship and revive successful border policies from his previous term as president.
