President Joe Biden had pledged to support Israel, but aid to the country was delayed due to divisions within the Republican party.

Rep. Steve Scalise announced that the House would prioritize legislation providing aid to Israel in response to the attack, Mediaite has reported.

Sen. Lindsay Graham supported this decision, emphasizing the need for consequences against Iran for targeting a U.S. ally.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn called for immediate retaliatory strikes against Iran.
