Week 3 of Trump’s Hush-Money Trial Reaches Its Explosive Finale

The third week of Donald Trump’s hush-money trial concluded on Friday with more bombshell testimony about an alleged scheme to suppress damaging stories before the 2016 presidential election.

Keith Davidson, the lawyer for Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, recounted his realization of potentially aiding Trump’s campaign.

Prosecutors claim Trump sought to sway the election by concealing stories. He faces 34 felony counts related to payments to Michael Cohen, his former attorney.

Cohen, a key witness, was referenced in court through social media posts and a recorded conversation discussing a plan to buy McDougal’s story, the Daily Beast reported.

Data from Cohen’s phones was presented as evidence. Trump denies wrongdoing and maintains his innocence in the case.
