Ukraine’s military claims to have struck a Russian weapons depot in Bryansk, targeting munitions, including those supplied by North Korea.
The drone attack aimed to disrupt Russia’s logistics and reduce its offensive capabilities. Following the strike, Bryansk authorities declared a state of emergency due to detonations.
Russia said 24 drones were intercepted.
This comes after reports that North Korean soldiers are fighting alongside Russian troops, with six officers allegedly killed by a Ukrainian strike, Al-Jazeera has reported.
North Korea and Russia, which recently formed a defense pact, deny supplying weapons to Russia for the Ukraine war.
