House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) called the Republican budget a “non-starter” on ABC’s “This Week,” stating that every Democratic lawmaker would oppose it.

He criticized Republicans for potentially causing a government shutdown and emphasized that any spending agreement must meet the needs of the American people.

Jeffries stressed that the current Republican budget is unacceptable and would not gain Democratic support, Breitbart News has reported.

He also highlighted the role of Democrat Rosa DeLauro in ongoing budget discussions.
