Wells Enterprises, maker of Blue Bunny and Halo Top ice cream, has voluntarily recalled nearly 18,000 containers of ice cream and frozen yogurt due to possible plastic contamination.
The recall, announced April 25, affects 22 flavors in 3-gallon tubs distributed across over 100 U.S. centers, including Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, and Texas, with use-by dates from March to October 2026.
The FDA classified it as a Class II recall, meaning the products could cause temporary or reversible health issues, NBC News has reported.
