A Connecticut man, Jose Morales, 48, was sentenced to 65 years in prison for the 2019 murder of his girlfriend, Christine Holloway, whose 14-month-old daughter, Vanessa, remains missing.
Morales was convicted of murder and evidence tampering but has not been charged in the child’s disappearance.
At sentencing, Holloway’s family demanded answers about Vanessa.
Morales, who claimed intruders killed Holloway and kidnapped the baby, admitted to tampering with the crime scene and being high on PCP, CBS News has reported.
The judge called the crime vicious and Morales a threat to society.
