Russia launched one of its largest aerial assaults on Ukraine in months, killing two and injuring 15, just hours before a NATO-led meeting on military aid for Ukraine.
The overnight attack on Kyiv involved hundreds of drones and missiles, highlighting Ukraine’s urgent need for air defense systems like the U.S.-made Patriot.
The virtual meeting, chaired by U.K. and German defense ministers, comes amid U.S. President Trump’s new plan for NATO allies to supply weapons to Ukraine, NBC News has reported.
While discussions are underway, major deliveries have yet to occur. Ukraine has also proposed renewed peace talks, though no date is set.
