At least 11 Palestinians, including two children and three journalists, were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since dawn, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
The journalists were photojournalists working for the Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief and were killed when their vehicle was struck in central Gaza near the Netzarim Corridor.
They were reportedly documenting conditions on the ground, including a newly established displacement camp, when the strike occurred, killing four people in total.
Video footage showed their vehicle destroyed and burning by the roadside, Al-Jazeera has reported.
Israel’s military said the air force targeted the vehicle, claiming its occupants were using a drone to gather intelligence.
