President Biden, reflecting on his controversial debate performance against former President Trump, characterized it as simply a “bad episode” or a “bad night” rather than indicative of any serious issue.

In his first major television interview since the debate, Biden acknowledged the criticism but attributed his performance solely to exhaustion and lack of adequate preparation.

He emphasized that the responsibility lay with him alone, stating, “The whole way I prepared – nobody’s fault but mine,” Fox News has reported.

Biden also criticized Trump for what he claimed were numerous falsehoods during the debate.
