Milo’s Poultry Farms LLC is recalling all eggs branded “Milo’s Poultry Farms” and “Tony’s Fresh Market” due to a salmonella outbreak.
The recall follows 65 reported illnesses and 24 hospitalizations across nine states, though no deaths have been reported.
The FDA linked the outbreak to positive salmonella tests in environmental samples from the farm. Affected eggs were sold in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and other states, Fox Business has reported.
Consumers are advised to dispose of the eggs and clean affected surfaces. Milo’s Poultry Farms has halted production and distribution while it conducts testing and sanitization.
