A video showing a Catholic nun being violently attacked in Jerusalem has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation.

The attacker pushed her to the ground and kicked her before being stopped by a passerby; she suffered minor injuries, and a suspect has been arrested.

The incident occurred on Mount Zion, a location significant to both Jewish and Christian traditions.
