At least four people were killed and several others wounded in one of the largest reported Ukrainian drone attacks on Russia since the war began.

Russian authorities said they destroyed 556 drones, though some struck Moscow and nearby regions, damaging buildings and disrupting airports.

The strikes reportedly targeted military and industrial sites, including a missile factory, electronics facilities, and oil infrastructure, raising concerns about weaknesses in Russia’s air defenses.

The attack came days after a deadly Russian strike on Kyiv that killed 24 civilians, including a 12-year-old girl, the U.S. Sun has reported.

Ukrainian officials praised the operation as a justified response to Russian attacks and signaled that similar long-range strikes could continue.
