Russian and Ukrainian attacks kill 10 people, a day after deadly shopping mall drone strike

Russian drone and missile strikes across Ukraine killed at least seven people Saturday, while a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia’s Krasnodar region killed three people, including two children.

The attacks came one day after a Russian strike on a Ukrainian shopping center killed at least 16 people and injured about 130 others.

In Kyiv, a Russian ballistic missile strike on railway infrastructure killed one person and wounded another, while two more people were killed in a separate strike on the surrounding Kyiv region.

Russian drone attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region also killed four people and wounded at least 18 others, according to local officials, the AP has reported.

The latest attacks come as Russia increases its use of ballistic missiles against Ukraine, while Ukraine continues to face shortages of U.S.-made Patriot air defense interceptors.
