The conflict between the United States and Iran has intensified, with Iran launching missiles and drones at Kuwait in retaliation for recent U.S. strikes.

Kuwait said its air defenses intercepted the incoming attacks, while Iran has also targeted U.S. assets in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq.

The latest escalation follows U.S. strikes on Iranian military equipment near the Strait of Hormuz, where Washington says Iran was preparing to deploy mines.

President Donald Trump warned that the United States is prepared to launch additional strikes against Iran “anytime,” while Vice President JD Vance said there is no fixed timeline for ending the conflict, Fox News has reported.

The fighting has also pushed oil prices toward $100 a barrel and increased concerns about disruptions to the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping route that previously carried about 20% of the world’s oil supply.
