The USDA has recalled approximately 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef and goat products from Star Meat Delivery Inc. after discovering they were produced without federal inspection and carried a false USDA inspection mark.

The Class I recall, issued September 22, affects meat distributed nationwide through a Georgia distributor under the A&D Foods label.

Recalled products include ground pork, chorizo, pork chops, ribs, beef ribeye, oxtail, short ribs, beef feet and various goat cuts, with the false establishment number “EST. 1363” appearing on the inspection mark.

There have been no confirmed illnesses or injuries linked to the products, but FSIS warns that uninspected meat could contain harmful bacteria, undeclared allergens or other contaminants, Southern Living has reported.

Consumers should not eat the recalled meat and should throw it away or return it, while restaurants and retailers should not sell or serve the products as the investigation continues.
