
It can now be revealed that an American spy, who was working on secondment with GCHQ, was stabbed by an alleged terrorist just three miles away from the headquarters, this is according to an exclusive article that was published by the Daily Mail.
According to the police, a knifeman targeted a woman employed by US intelligence in an alleged terrorist attack outside a leisure center in Cheltenham.
Reportedly, the victim was seated in a car when the knifeman attacked and stabbed her in the car park of the leisure center. Despite the attack, she was able to get out of the vehicle and seek help while injured.
Despite sustaining serious injuries, she was able to alert staff at the sports center, which was scheduled to close to the public at 9:15 pm on Thursday, around the time of the attack.
The victim remained in a stable condition in the hospital yesterday after undergoing surgery.
Although the identity of the woman has not been disclosed, The Daily Mail has discovered that she is an American spy who is on secondment with the Government Communications Headquarters, located just three miles away from the site of the attack.
While the specifics of her job have not been disclosed, GCHQ maintains a robust partnership with its American counterpart, the National Security Agency.
