‘Foul play’ suspected in case of missing moms in Oklahoma, police say

Authorities in Oklahoma are investigating the suspicious disappearance of two mothers, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, who failed to pick up their children as planned.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has deemed the case as potential foul play after finding the women’s abandoned vehicle in a remote area near the Kansas border.

Despite ongoing efforts, there have been no arrests, and the women remain missing.

The pair was traveling together to pick up children when they vanished, with their car discovered abandoned on the roadside, ABC News reported.

Their vehicle was located in Texas County, Oklahoma, prompting concerns for their safety due to the rural location and lack of contact.

Both women are connected to church communities in Hugoton, Kansas, and were reportedly on their way to a birthday party when they disappeared.

Authorities continue to investigate the case as family and community members await answers.
