A weekend snowstorm brought record-setting snowfall to North Carolina, freezing temperatures to Florida, and at least two deaths across the region.
North Carolina saw over 1,000 vehicle collisions, with up to 22.5 inches of snow reported in some areas, marking the largest snow event since 2004.
Coastal areas were hit by flooding and property damage, including a house washed away in Buxton, while black ice remains a hazard.
Snowfall also broke a record in Charleston, South Carolina, and rare flurries occurred in Tampa Bay, Florida, NBC News has reported.
The storm has caused widespread power outages, gusty winds, and coastal inundation along the Outer Banks and parts of Massachusetts.
