UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host a Downing Street summit with business, cultural, and policing leaders to coordinate a “whole of society” response to rising antisemitism.
The meetings will involve ministers and representatives from multiple sectors working with Jewish community leaders to identify how antisemitism appears and how to address it more effectively.
The initiative follows a series of suspected antisemitic attacks in the UK, including a stabbing in Golders Green that police treated as a terrorist incident.
Starmer is also convening a security-focused cabinet committee to assess threats to Jewish communities amid heightened tensions linked to the Middle East conflict, the BBC has reported.
The government has already increased police funding and security measures as authorities investigate a growing number of related arrests and incidents.
