Russian airstrikes damaged port infrastructure in Ukraine’s Danube port city of Izmail, though officials said there were no casualties or major destruction.
Drone attacks also struck several Ukrainian regions, including Kharkiv, where rescuers searched rubble after an attack injured civilians.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities said they shot down four Ukrainian drones headed toward Moscow and reported additional attacks in regions including Kursk, Rostov, and Yaroslavl.
Damage to an industrial site in Yaroslavl highlighted Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to target Russia’s energy infrastructure and reduce its oil revenues, Reuters has reported.
The latest exchanges come as peace efforts remain stalled and both Russia and Ukraine continue accusing each other of carrying out attacks during the ongoing war.
