4 teens injured after shooting at Chicago’s Little Village, police say

A mass shooting in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood early Sunday left four teenagers injured, including two 16-year-old girls, an 18-year-old woman, and a 14-year-old boy.

Police said officers nearby heard gunfire around 3 a.m. and found the victims at the scene with gunshot wounds.

All four teens were taken to the hospital in good condition, and no arrests have been made.

The suspected shooter, described as a male, fled on foot before police arrived, and the motive remains unclear.

The incident comes as city officials push summer safety efforts amid concerns about seasonal increases in gun violence.
