A 13-year-old boy was injured after reportedly exiting his ride vehicle on Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and going down part of the attraction’s 50-foot waterfall drop.

Witnesses said the ride stopped temporarily after staff became aware of the incident and emergency personnel responded.

The teen was taken to a local hospital for evaluation but was later released.

Disneyland officials shut down the ride immediately after the incident and it was inspected by safety regulators, the California Post has reported.

The attraction reopened the next day after being cleared by authorities.
