Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of Rep. Lauren Boebert, was arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a child and released on $10,000 bond.

The charges stem from a 2024 video allegedly involving Boebert and a 17-year-old girl that was later posted on Instagram.

Authorities said Boebert was 18 and 11 months older than the girl at the time the video was recorded.

He faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, while a separate case involving vehicle trespassing and theft remains ongoing, NBC News has reported.

Lauren Boebert said she loves her son, takes the allegations seriously and will continue to support him through the legal process.
