A passenger train derailed and flipped onto its side Thursday near Lewes train station in southern England.
Photos from the scene showed at least two train cars lying on their sides as emergency crews responded.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the incident, with other emergency responders also arriving.
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander expressed concern and thanked emergency services for assisting those affected, ABC News has reported.
There were no immediate reports of injuries following the derailment.
