The Israeli military said it carried out an airstrike in northern Gaza City on Tuesday targeting Hamas commanders who were allegedly planning attacks against Israeli troops.
The IDF said four Hamas commanders were among those targeted, including Nukhba force members and a militant it said had participated in the October 7 attack.
The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry reported that six people were killed and 10 others wounded in the strike near a coastal cafe.
The IDF said several other terrorists who were meeting with the commanders were also killed, Jerusalem Post has reported.
The military said it took measures before the strike to reduce the risk of harm to civilians who were not involved.
