Fromm Family Foods is recalling about 5,800 cases of two wet dog food products sold in the United States and Canada over potential metal contamination.

The recall involves Fromm Turkey Pâté and Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté, with no illnesses or injuries reported so far.

The company warned that ingesting metal could cause choking, vomiting, stomach problems or serious injuries to a dog’s mouth and digestive tract.

Owners should stop feeding the recalled products and return them to the retailer, while contacting a veterinarian if their dogs develop symptoms after eating the food, Fox Business has reported.

The recall comes shortly after another pet food company pulled fresh meals over reports of possible eye problems in dogs, though no connection between that food and the reported illnesses has been confirmed.
