Three U.S. Secret Service officials have been placed on administrative leave while the agency investigates potential misconduct.

The officials are non-law-enforcement personnel from the agency’s communications office, including Communications Chief Anthony Guglielmi.

The employees have reportedly lost their security clearances and access to work devices while the investigation is underway.

The Secret Service has not disclosed what the alleged misconduct involves, though the move comes amid concerns about leaks of sensitive information and recent security controversies, The Hill has reported.

The investigation is being handled by the agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility as the Secret Service faces continued scrutiny over its protection of President Donald Trump and other high-level officials.
