Nvidia reported record second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion, more than doubling from a year earlier and beating Wall Street expectations.
The company’s Data Center business drove the results, generating about $89 billion in revenue, up 117% from the same period last year.
Nvidia also forecast third-quarter revenue of approximately $108 billion, above analysts’ expectations of roughly $104 billion, signaling continued strong demand for its AI chips.
The company said its outlook assumes no Data Center computing revenue from China, meaning any additional Chinese sales could provide further upside, CNBC has reported.
Nvidia shares rose sharply in premarket trading as investors reacted to the strong earnings and continued strength in the artificial-intelligence market.
